Here’s a company you may have heard of. Can you get reviewed with them? Is it worth the cost of getting reviewed with them? How much does it cost? How do they decide on the ratings? Are you paying for a good review or an honest one? Here is all you need to know about getting reviewed with Readers Favorite.

Who Are Readers Favorite?

Readers Favorite is a company by authors for authors. This means that they are in the best position possible to offer advice to authors on how to get noticed, published, how to deal with writing issues and more, they truly know what they are talking about!

Readers Favorite also has an awesome list of clients who come to them to get their books reviewed. I am sure you will have heard of some of these great names and publishers that they have worked with:

What Do Readers Favorite Offer?

You have probably already guessed they offer a book reviewing program but they offer so much more.

When it comes to book reviews they offer honest book reviews. This does not mean you will find a negative review on the book you’ve poured your heart and soul into on a website. No. If your book has a negative review they go out of their way to help, not harm.

We only post 4 and 5 star reviews. If an author receives a poor review, we provide private constructive criticism to the author instead. We were the first book review company to not post negative reviews because we are in the business of helping authors, not hurting them.

My Personal Experience With Readers Favorite.

I started out hoping for a free one back in 2013. After 3 months, I paid for an express one, and I was very satisfied with the results (Read it here).

It is a nerve wrecking experience handing your book over to be reviewed. You have poured your heart and soul into it, you think it’s the best, you want others to enjoy it, but what if they don’t? What of you’ve made a million spelling mistakes and not noticed? What if…?

I was so nervous when I opened the email containing the review but so relieved. 4 out of 5 is something to be proud about. The feeling of euphoria that comes with reading someone’s experience in reading your work is unrivalled. If you’ve never had a book reviewed before I highly recommend you do.

Is It Worth Using Readers Favorite?

Absolutely yes. Sure the cost sounds painful if you don’t get picked for a free review but you will get honest feedback, notes on how to improve, you’ll be advertised.

You also find a world full of authors who want you to succeed. You’ll find blogs with great advice such as:

  • Do’s and don’ts of writing to a literary agent.
  • Elements of a successful book proposal.
  • Get free publicity by writing a media release.
  • Learn to use commas correctly
  • and much much more! Seriously, this isn’t even the tip of the iceberg, it’s the loose bit of ice sat on the tip of the berg.
